Welcome to Brooklyn Somatics, the private practice of Neha Ewell. By using this website or booking a session, you agree to these terms.
The work
I offer somatic sessions, cyclical embodiment sessions, and somatic education and resource sessions, mostly online, with in-person sessions in Brooklyn by arrangement. This work supports your wellbeing, self-awareness and nervous system regulation.
Not a substitute for medical or mental health care
Somatic work is not psychotherapy, medical treatment or crisis support. I don’t diagnose or treat any medical or mental health condition. Please keep working with your doctor, therapist or other providers as needed. I’m glad to work alongside them. If you’re in crisis, please contact emergency services or call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Your choice, always
You’re in charge of your own experience. You’re welcome to pause, slow down, decline any suggestion or end a session at any time. You’re responsible for your own choices and wellbeing during and after our work together.
Booking, payment and cancellation
Booking. Sessions are booked through my scheduling page.
Payment. I accept Venmo and PayPal. Payment, cancellation and rescheduling details are included in your onboarding paperwork, which you’ll receive after booking.
Sliding scale. It’s available on request, and is offered on trust.
Online sessions
Online sessions take place over Zoom. Please join from a private, comfortable space with a stable internet connection. I can’t be responsible for technical problems on either end. If we lose connection, we’ll do our best to reconnect or reschedule.
Age
Sessions are for adults 18 and older.
Website content
The writing, images and materials on this site belong to Brooklyn Somatics unless otherwise noted. You’re welcome to share links. Please don’t copy or reuse the content without permission. Resource guides you receive are for your personal use.
Links to other sites
This site links to outside sites, like Calendly and Substack. I’m not responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
The information on this site is offered for general educational purposes. To the fullest extent the law allows, Brooklyn Somatics is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of this site or your participation in sessions.

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
