Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026
Brooklyn Somatics is the private practice of Neha Ewell, based in Brooklyn, New York. Your privacy matters to me, and this page explains what information this site collects, why, and what happens to it.
What I collect
When you contact me. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write.
When you book a session. Booking happens through Calendly, which collects your name, email, the time you choose and any answers you give in the booking form.
When you browse the site. This site is hosted by Squarespace, which uses cookies and basic analytics to keep the site running and show me general patterns, like which pages are visited. This data isn’t used to identify you personally.
How I use it
I use your information to reply to you, schedule and hold sessions, send you onboarding paperwork, and follow up on our work together. That’s it. I don’t sell, rent or trade your information. I don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
Who else handles it
A few trusted services help me run this practice, and each has its own privacy policy:
Squarespace hosts this website and its contact form.
Calendly handles scheduling.
Zoom is used for online sessions. I don’t record sessions.
Venmo and PayPal handle payments. I never see or store your bank or card details.
A note on Venmo: transactions can be public by default. If you pay that way, you may want to set the payment to private and keep the description simple.
What you share in sessions
What you share in our sessions stays between us. The only exceptions are situations where the law requires disclosure, such as an immediate risk of serious harm to you or someone else.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as smoothly.
Links to other sites
This site links to other places, like my Substack and Calendly. Their privacy practices are their own, so I’d encourage you to read their policies too.
Changes
If I update this policy, I’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
